Board to Elect a New National Director

Reza Garrow

The USPA Board of Directors is in need of a new National Director to fill the vacancy when Shanon Searls joins the USPA staff as the new Director of Sport Promotion on December 17. In accordance with USPA’s bylaws, the board vacancy will be filled by a vote of the board of directors at their next meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, January 31-February 2. The person elected to fill the vacancy will serve the remainder of the board term through the end of 2021.

On January 31 in Phoenix, board members will nominate individuals as candidates for the National Director vacancy. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and be a regular USPA member in good standing with a total of at least two years of membership. At the close of nominations, all candidates will be afforded an opportunity to address the board of directors. The board will then vote, and the winner will immediately take his or her seat on the board. Those interested in filling the position of National Director should contact a current member of the board to express their desire to become a candidate. The current list of board members and their contact information is available on the USPA website.
